DECEMBER WEBINAR:
Kids Mental Health Pierce County in collaboration with Mary Bridge Children’s Hospital’s YES Program is excited to announce our upcoming webinar series: Social Emotional Learning & Trauma Informed Practices with Youth. This webinar series is facilitated by Education and Behavioral Consultant, Tovah Denaro, MS.Ed. This series will go throughout the 2021-2022 school year with sessions occurring monthly. The series is open to all Pierce County professionals who serve youth, as well as parents/caregivers of youth in the community.
Sessions occur from 4-5pm, with a 30 minute question and answer to follow.
December Session Objectives:
- Learn how trauma impacts the brains of youth.
- Understand the hidden trauma of chronic stress and anxiety.
- Learn and practice trauma informed approaches through an equity lens.
