Nonprofit agencies, churches, and charities; diverse community performers; fun activities for children and the whole family.
On Sept. 9, 2023, the Vancouver Peace and Justice Fair returns to live celebration and connection for its 20thh year. The fair showcases local nonprofit agencies and churches, volunteers and activists, performers and just-plain-folks focused on making Clark County – and the whole world – a better place to live.
Get to know big-hearted local community groups that are working on important causes from hunger and homelessness to LBGTQ rights and inclusion to climate change, animal welfare and so much more. If you’ve ever been interested in doing any sort of good in Clark County, this is the event for you. Did you ever wanted some facetime with peace heroes like Ruth Bader Ginsberg and Harriet Tubman? Our popular Peace and Justice Hero Reenactors will be strolling the park, looking for conversation.
The main stage will have performing groups including the Traveling Day Society, Satori Choral, Talisman Strings and other musicians and singers. Armin Tolentino, the Clark County Poet Laureate, will be the MC for the day.
Get a Passport to Peace at the Headquarters table and get it stamped by five exhibitors to win a prize. There will be prizes for adults and children.
The Vancouver Peace and Justice Fair is a day like no other: A homegrown gathering of our community’s most forward-thinking citizens and peacemakers. Come see how Vancouver is leading the way to a better world.
Please note that these are community events and are not sponsored or hosted by the Carelon Youth Navigator Team.
